| Since our launch in 2003 Community Renewal has developed community based employment projects in Renfrewshire, North Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde , Stirling and Edinburgh. To date we have supported about 3000 people into jobs and a further 1000 into education and training.
In 2010 we opened a new project in Govanhill in Glasgow where we aim to use the holistic approach described in this website to increase the well-being of the local population.

Each employment project has on average 3.5 full time equivalent community animators/engagement workers and the results so far show that the work of each animator produces about 2 job outcomes per month.
In 2008 we extended our reach to include Edinburgh, and to date have two projects in Muirhouse and Craigmillar. We are working with people here with significant barriers to accessing employment and education with an overall aim of reducing unemployment and health inequalities.
We are also currently working to improve health with NHS supported projects in Govanhill.
